Currently Lead Technical Product Manager for Autonomous Cloud Platforms at Mercari, Inc. — Mori Tower, Roppongi Hills, Tokyo (TSE Prime: 4385) — driving AI/ML-powered initiatives across Platform Infrastructure, Networking, SRE & Observability, and DBRE.
Previously at Woven by Toyota (formerly TRI-AD — Toyota Research Institute – Advanced Development) — contributing to Arene, Toyota’s Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) platform and OS, now shipping in production Toyota vehicles starting with the 2025 RAV4. Led company-wide cybersecurity compliance to NIST CSF and CMMC Level 3 standards across AD/ADAS, autonomous mobility, and vehicle software development.
Before Toyota, APAC Regional Leader for Data Center Controls & Cybersecurity at Google for six years across Taiwan, Singapore, and Japan — overseeing delivery of 700MW+ of APAC data center capacity with ~$40M in cost optimization savings and earning three successive promotions. This footprint powers Google Cloud, YouTube, Search, and Gmail for billions of users across Asia-Pacific. Recruited directly from Google into Toyota’s TRI-AD to help establish Japan’s software-defined vehicle future.
Earlier, worked for the Dubai Government — specifically the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) — as Senior Embedded Systems & Maintenance Engineer at TransCore L.P. Dubai on Salik, the fully automated, citywide gantry-based tolling system. Designed, implemented, and commissioned critical revenue infrastructure that today serves millions of daily road users and remains one of Dubai’s largest non-oil revenue sources.
